Welcome, Mr. Mercer

This little bundle of joy had to endure a power outage at the studio, courtesy of Kansas City Power and Light  -- thank goodness it was summer!  Mercer had the most beautiful curly black hair and was just an absolute joy to photograph!  Here are a few pictures from the session.

Here is Mercer with one of our favorite fringe blanket props.  I love the textures and colors of his blanket and it is such a great compliment to his tone and hair color.  The back drop is brown sweater knit.

I just love this "hand" pictures.  I am so happy with the lines and the entire composition of the picture.
